Metaserv Pty Ltd was established in Hobart in 1981 to provide an
efficient, cost effective technical service to the mining and
engineering industry, and is a NATA approved Non Destructive &
Mechanical Testing laboratory.

After the closure of the Hydro laboratories in Moonah we purchased
their metallurgical and mechanical testing equipment. During
1997/98 we built a purpose built laboratory in the north of the
state near Launceston airport as we felt that this central location
best serviced all Tasmanian industrial centres.
